Beyza Gökay

Beyza Gökay is a painter working in oil and mixed media. Earth (160 × 170 cm), her 2022 diploma project, is a work on the spatialisation of the body: it imagines a universe in which everything comes back to life and the only role left to humans is to feed the earth. Her works, from live model studies to a large canvas in four pieces, centre on the body, nature and space. In 2022 she created an installation portal for Claustrum, a fictional photography work by the photographer Eda Demir.
